These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) explain the rules for booking and participating in our escape room experiences. By making a booking, you agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself and everyone in your group. Please read them carefully.
1. Scope
These Terms apply to all bookings, contracts, and services between Labyrintoom GmbH (the “Company,” “we,” or “us”) and our customers (the “Players,” “you,” or “your”) in connection with our live escape games.
Any other terms proposed by Players do not apply unless we expressly agree in writing.
2. Our Services
We offer live escape room experiences where groups of players solve themed puzzles and challenges within a set time limit.
The exact details—game type, duration, price, and location—are listed in each booking description.
3. Booking & Contract
You can book online, by phone, or in person.
The person making the booking (the “Booking Party”) accepts these Terms for themselves and for all other participants in their group.
A booking becomes binding once you receive a confirmation from us.
The Booking Party is responsible for sharing these Terms with all group members.
4. No Cancellations for Fixed-Date Events
Because escape room bookings are for specific dates and times, no right of withdrawal or cancellation applies once the booking is confirmed.
5. Prices & Payment
Prices shown on our website at the time of booking apply.
Payment is required in advance (online) or on site using accepted payment methods.
Discounts, promotions, and vouchers cannot be combined unless stated otherwise.
6. Cancellations, Rescheduling & No-Shows
You can cancel free of charge up to 48 hours before your scheduled game.
Cancellations made later, or no-shows, will be charged the full booking fee with no refund.
Rescheduling is possible (subject to availability) up to 24 hours before your game.
We may cancel or reschedule sessions for important reasons such as technical issues or safety concerns. If that happens, you’ll receive a refund or credit.
7. Age Requirements
Children 8 years and older may play only when accompanied by an adult (18+).
Teens 14 years and older may play alone if the booking was made by an adult or with written consent from a parent or guardian.
If proper supervision or consent is missing, we may deny entry and no refund will be issued.
8. Arrival & Punctuality
Please arrive at least 10 minutes before your scheduled game.
Late arrivals may result in shortened playtime or forfeiture of your booking without refund.
9. Safety & Conduct
Follow all staff instructions at all times.
Weapons, dangerous items, and illegal substances are not allowed.
Players under the influence of alcohol or drugs will not be admitted.
We reserve the right to remove anyone who violates safety rules or behaves inappropriately.
Participants are responsible for any intentional damage they cause.
10. Video Monitoring & Privacy
For safety and quality assurance, our rooms are monitored by video.
Recordings are used only for:
ensuring player safety,
game supervision (for hints and support), and
documenting incidents.
Recordings are not used for marketing without your written consent.
They are typically deleted after 72 hours, unless we need to retain them due to an incident or legal reason.

11. Liability
We are responsible only for damages caused by intentional or grossly negligent acts.
For minor negligence, we are liable only if essential contractual obligations are violated and only to the extent of foreseeable, typical damages.
We are not liable for lost profits, indirect damages, or lost personal items except as required by law.
Liability for injury to life, body, or health remains unaffected.
12. Gift Cards & Vouchers
Valid for 1 year from the date of issue.
Non-transferable and not redeemable for cash.
After expiration, unused balances are forfeited.
Vouchers can only be used for our services and cannot be combined with other offers.
13. Data Protection
We collect and process personal information to handle bookings and communication in accordance with applicable data privacy laws.
By booking, the Booking Party confirms that all participants are aware of and agree to these Terms.

14. Force Majeure
If events beyond our control occur—such as power outages, natural events, or government orders—we may cancel or reschedule affected bookings.
Any payments made will be refunded or credited. Additional claims are excluded.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Germany, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.
To the extent permitted by law, the exclusive place of jurisdiction is Berlin, Germany.
If any part of these Terms is found invalid, the remaining sections remain in full effect.
